Wasatch Front Regional Council Summary
This bill modifies governance of certain public transit districts;
Amends provisions related to registration fees increasing the registration fee for Electric Vehicles, plug in hybrids, and hybrids. The additional fees will be put into a fund for building EV infrastructure. These fees will be phased in over 3 years as follows:
For Electric Vehicles: 2019 $60; 2020 $90; 2021 $120.
For Plug In Hybrids: 2019 $26; 2020 $39; 2021 $52.
For Hybrids: 2019 $10; 2020 $15; 2021 $20.
Modifies taxes related to transportation;
Modifies the governance of the Department of Transportation.
