Summertime ozone pollution plagues the Salt Lake Valley.
Also known as smog, ozone pollution is harmful to our health and environment and is created when pollution from cars, trucks, homes, buildings and industry chemically react with sunlight during our hotter months typically between May through September. There are many small steps you can take at home to reduce summertime ozone pollution.
