This bill would make energy storage projects, enhanced geothermal energy projects, nuclear energy projects, projects that reduce emissions through selective catalytic reduction projects, carbon capture and sequestration at existing faciltiies, and allowing certain types of mineral processing facilities to be eligible for the High Cost Infrastruture Tax Credit.
The 2nd Sub (not adopted as of 2/12) adds railroad emissions reductions projects to this tax credit, requiring a minimum project cost of $5million. This incorporates this piece of HB 518 into this bill.
