Cameron Cova, J.D.

Cameron grew up in Salt Lake City and is a University of Utah alum, where she studied creative writing. Cameron received her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law, with an emphasis on Environmental Law. Following law school she served as a law clerk for the Federal District Court in the Eastern District of California, and then practiced intellectual property law and handled pro bono environmental matters at the law firm of Covington and Burling. Cameron was actively involved in the creation of the Mountain View Corridor’s Air Quality Working Group, charged with air quality monitoring and mitigation efforts for schools located near this roadway, and is a current member of the working group. Utah’s air quality has been a major concern for Cameron for many years, leading her to be a founding member of Breathe Utah.
