BYU Study Indicates More Health Risks

New research shows how otherwise healthy individuals are at a greater risk of cardiovascular disease when exposed to local air pollution. We are familiar with how people with multiple risk factors are in danger of heart attack and stroke during episodes of air pollution. We are familiar with children's hospitalizations going up for respiratory complications. This study confirms that it is not just the "vulnerable" population. Healthy people are greatly affected by our air pollution.
